I’d like to thank folks once again for coming out to my show at Gryphon Cafe in Wayne on March 5. As a special treat, I uploaded a track from the show. Its called “Sometimes a Light Surprises”, based off a hymn by William Cowper (of course). Fair warning, its raw and sometimes off-key.

This is a song I put together with the Kickwheels, an epic band that comes out of hibernation once a year to shower the world with classic Christmas numbers. Enjoy!
I was originally going to play this song in addition to “Children Go Where I Send Thee” for Covenant Fellowship Church’s Christmas Concert, however it was dropped (which I think was for the best). However, for posterity’s sake, here is the demo I recorded for it. Enjoy!
